International Kata Coach: Sensei Sanford Dewitt, 5th Dan
Sensei Sanford has trained in karate for nearly thirty years with experience in wado-kai and koshiki karate, as well as shindo. He successfully competed for Canada six times, most recently as an exhibition athlete in the 2004 Olympics. Sensei’s knowledge and skill is an essential part of the teams’ success. |

Kumite Coach: Sensei Michel Gosselin, 4th Dan
Sensei Michel has trained in martial arts for nearly fourty years with experience in wado-kai karate and taekwondo. Was a six time Shintani National Team member. Competed all over Canada, California, Las Vegas (2009 Ozawa Cup Champion), Pittsburg, Italy. Also an accomplished 1st dan in Taekwondo, Sensei represented Canada at the 4th I.T.F World Championships.

Team Trainer: Sensei Dr. Dave Brunarski, 4th Dan
Sensei Dave has extensive martial arts training in wado-kai, kendo, iaido, shindo, and taekwondo. He is a doctor of Chiropractic, serving on the Ontario Chiropractic Association, and is a clinical specialist. He assists our team with injury prevention, the designing of workout programs, and rehabilitation when injury does occur. |

Sensei Kris has contributed to the SWKKF National Team as the team manager since 2005. His experience in his study of karate contributes to a well run and efficient team. He volunteers to teach karate throughout Lindsay, Ontario and competed with Sensei Sanford as an Olympic Exhibition athlete in 2004. |
